Bathsheba

To be completely transparent, I don’t know how I would have gotten through my pregnancy and labor without Jahlisa as my doula. I suppose I would have managed but I don’t even want to imagine it without her. She didn’t become my doula until my 3rd trimester and I wish I had her from the beginning. 

From the moment we connected she checked on me almost daily, sent me positive affirmations, and shared helpful tips/tools. Whenever I had questions, she had the answers or would get them. When it came to actual labor she was there for the whole process. She drove me to the hospital and stayed a couple of hours after I delivered my baby girl. Jahlisa did her best to keep me calm and comfortable during labor. She made sure we stuck to my birth plan and despite how chaotic delivery can be she was attentive and ensured all my needs were met. She continues to check on my baby and me post-partum and she reminds me to make sure I’m taking care of myself. Her patience, nurturing nature, and passion are unmatched. This is truly her calling and I am truly blessed to have had her as my doula.
